We were on the road early (in the
dark) keeping an eye out for wildlife on
the road. We made it through Togwotee Pass
and to Grand Teton National Park.
It was very handy to have our traveling
host "Jeeb" with the GuideAlong app.
(highly recommend this app for parks and
check it out for other travels). It was like
having our own tour guide and learning
things as we traveled.
(no his name isn't really Jeeb, hubby
named him). :)
We found our way to Jenny Lake Overlook.
So peaceful and beautiful!
After the sunrise, we headed back to the
Jenny Lake area with the large parking
lot, small visitor's center and a bathroom.
It was quite busy with people getting ready
to hike and others catching the boat, to the other
side of the lake, for more hiking.
They rent bear spray at a vending machine.
With very detailed instructions that
made us laugh.
It was surprisingly very busy with people.
